  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside in Crediton & have the Care of a School there, endow'd by royal charter. I have been duly licens'd to it by a former Diocesan. Mr Carter, Vicar of West Anstey, serves E. Anstey together with his own Church; which manner of Service was approv'd of by the last Bishop, these two Churches being about a Mile asunder only. His Salary is twenty five pounds per year. He is not licens'd. I have no Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: I have the Benefice of Kennerleigh, which I serve myself.

  3. Divine service at other churches: Answer'd before.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Once <only> on the Lord's day with a Sermon, the Reason mention'd before – Indeed when I am at Anstey myself on Lord's day, I usually perform divine Service there, twice.

  5. Frequency of communion: Four times in the year – about thirty Communicants.

  6. Catechising of children: In the Summer, generally.

  7. Church fabric: Yes.

  8. Glebe terrier: We have a Terrier in the Registers Office.

  9. Number of families: Twenty eight.

  10. Chapels: No Chapel.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: No reputed Papists, no Dissenters.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: No School. No Alms house, Hospital or Parochial Library.

  13. Charity: There is a Benefaction of twenty Pounds to the Poor the Interest of which is in general duly applied.

    Priest's orders and institution: My Priests Orders are dated September 23d 1750. My Institution September 19th 1765.
